Day 4

Although I had seen the unique indigenous religion that was discovered in Vietnam, Cow Dai which was a combination of various religion, Taoism ,Confuscisism , Buddhism , Hinduism and Christian but I felt the 2h + trip there was wasted due to the packed schedule as we only manage to stay there like a good 20 minutes and the trip to and from there took around 3 to 4 hours. It was too brief a time for us to see the full ritual. I found Cow Dai quite absurd as different religion would have conflicting rules and it would be hard to resolve such conflicts. Perhaps this religion was formed because Vietnamese wanted something which belonged to them along but also I cannot rule out the possibility that it is really out of a vision to unite all religion under one so that the people would have a common religion

Ate a VERY VERY OILY lunch at one of the restaurant in the rural area.
Tieh Min got a stomache because of the food and a lot of people were complaning.
Anyway we just listened to the folks tales told to us by our tour guide on the way to Cu Chi Tunnel

I was really impressed by the architecture and how the cu chi tunnel was made. Seeing things from the perspective of the Viet-Cong have really made me realized how humiliating it was for them to live underground. Having personally climbed the cu chi tunnel, I know just how humid and hot it felt and imagine them having to live in such condition everyday during the war and armed with their guns. I can’t imagine the amount of fatigue they went through.

Fired 3 rounds of Shotgun and 2 rounds of carbine for only US $10
Shiok experience
Been a while since i fired =)
How i miss NCC Days
I climbed to level 2 of the Cu Chi tunnel and BOY was it an unforgettable experience.

After Cu Chi tunnel, went back to our hotel and after a quick shower, went to meet Hui Ying and Asy at the lobby as we had an appointment with our VNU friend that evening.
YAY... going out again !!!!
This time around, Asy's friend also came but i didn't catch her name....
We dine at a place which served muslim food.
Quite expensive..Sing dollars $46 or $48 for 4 person( we paid for our VNU friend, An)

After the fulfilling dinner, we went to their KTV
OMG... all the chinese song there... so.. 60th to 70th... -.-
and all 5 letter title
and the english song.. is like OMG
imagine e only few song u know are by Backstreet Boys, Boyzone , Britney Spears , Aqua , Micheal learns to rock... is like so OLD SCHOOL!!!!!

But we still enjoyed ourself in the spacious room... i think enough to accomadate up to 20 person... just sang and let go...WHAHHA... FUNNY ..... espically the way we scream into the mike... WAKAKA...

After that, we walked the tourist area in Ho Chi Min City, quite close to our hotel and observed the local life there.. took some pictures that was related to our group project and walked through the gentle drizzle back to our Hotel

An was so nice can... she made cards for Asy , Hui Ying and Me... personal card....
So touched.. by her actions...
Will try to upload a picture of the card she gave me
Then she left after staying at Hui Ying Hotel room for a while... cause it was getting late

After a long day, just wanted to jolt down all my thoughts and reflection. After doing that for 20 minutes, went up to room 516 to join the rest in the partying... but guess what?
It was Ghost Telling SESSION
... 2 hours into it... i fell asleep... L O L... not that the ghost story was lousy or anything.. just too tired.... Did so many things today
